He was deeply insecure about his manliness.  She was like a little red sports car.  Just to be with her beauty made him feel more masculine. He moaned about her male friends, and to make him feel loved she gave them up.  Then he started on her girl friends. She gave them up too.  She thought he would marry her. Within 2 years he had a cell phone affair with an emotionally unavailable woman. 

SHE WAS SO LONELY!

She came to me for a psychic reading.  Her voice was filled with tension.  She said at night she lay beside him, with out a single kiss or intimacy.  It had been months since they made love..  In the morning, within 2 years, he had taken to leaving for work with out a kiss or hug.  When she said, “I love you” he said in a cold distracted way, “ummmm hmmmm.”

Clearly, here was a man that hated what he loved, and LOVED what he hated.  He could not give up until he had her all to himself.   Of course he told her it was all her fault he did not want to make love any more, and her fault she was in high stress.   He said:

• She thought she was better then him
• She thought she could find someone a lot better then him.
• She thought he was nothing without her.

The sad thing is, he was insecure before he met her.  Just having her on his arm was his statement to the world he was “cool”.   Truth was he did not think he was, and was absolutely shocked that she found him worth her time and effort.  Once he owned “the red sports car” he got bored with her and wanted another model. He began having an affair, and in complete anxiety, she scrolled his cell phone and found their text messages.

 MOTHER TOLD HER TO REFLECT NICENESS, WILL GET NICENESS BACK

At wits end she fell trap to his accusations that she was seeing other men. {THIS WAS PROJECTION OF HIS OWN GUILT} Any friend was a threat to him, and yet he bought her alluring garments and jewelry to attract the opposite sex. When she began to act  unemotional it did not change the way he treated her. 

Her mother was shocked at her once confident daughter’s attitude.  “You’re falling apart!” She told her.   Being a good Catholic she raised her daughter on the importance of a successful husband, to endure the disappointments, and that if she remained nice to her husband, eventually he would be nice back.  But my client clearly saw that it was not working.  In fact, he was demanding more of her, while he gave emotionally less back.

“ BE A WOMAN WITH BRASS OVARIES!”  I TOLD HER.

“Honey, here’s the thing.  I have a plan.  You can try it or not…it’s all up to you.”

·        STEP ONE – Understand without a doubt you have run out of options. His gift trade of affection and nice things, in exchange for abandoning your interests, friends and life, is absolute FEAR of losing his red sports car woman.

·        STEP TWO- The more jealous and demanding he gets, the more he accuses YOU of an affair, the more he is either NOW, or anticipating in the near future, having an affair himself.  It’s called “projection”.

·        In a calm voice, tell him if he continues to leave you unsatisfied, and falsely accused, you will move on.  Your climbing into a red sports car and purposely crashing into a wall.  It hurts like hell, yet you stay.

·        STEP FOUR – Mean it and Do it.  Don’t just make threats.

“WHAT IF IT DRIVES HIM TO ANOTHER WOMAN?” She worried.

“STEP ONE!    I told her.  You have run out of options.   Remember to be a woman of “Brass Ovaries” is to understand that with or without a man, you must be happy with yourself first. Stand up for yourself. Never give more then you are getting back.  Once you gave up your life, you ceased to be a challenge to him.  You have now become the beautiful wild mare, broken, and left alone in the pasture.”

 When being treated unfairly never give more then you are getting back.
