The Mystical Power of Scent

What is it that makes us want to be near someone that smells good, or causes us to spend twice as much money when surrounded by a cloud of soothing emotional scent? Mary Magdalene washed the feet of Jesus with her hair dipped in scented oils. On the opposite spectrum, a fearful situation of rape or mugging, will forever be latched in our memories with the aromas and smells surround us at the time. Aromatherapy uses specific scents to eliminate emotional trauma or give strength through life change when we most need it.  Wearing these aromas in our lives can create a wonderful strength when we most need it.

Psychic Radio Theater {disembodied opera singers}

Ann Marie’s Tarot Joy

Once upon a time Ann Marie combined Psychic Theater with Master Tarot, creating skits in which her Co Host, Lily, {a disembodied opera singer from the early 1900s}, traveled through radio static or telephone wires.  Often Lily came to visit, and regularly took part in current events. Dating sites for ghosts led Lily to the bad boy spirits of Henry the 8th and the Marque De Sade. For the earth quake of Hatti, Lily hopped a plane with the spirit of Mother Teresa to save the day.  And one can not forget the time the antique store brought a bag of velvet and silk Christmas dresses for Lily, who dearly loved floating in luxury, invisible save a wobbling bustle or floating sleeve.

Though well crafted with realistic sound effects and structure, the audio skits were not understood by those calling for only readings.  Lily went away, but Ann Marie swore one day to bring her back.  The difference?   Callers would be the stars, and sound effects limited to their entrance into the show.

Now that Video is here, the challenge is how to make Lily a visible co host of the show.  This will continue to be a work in progress, and shows ahead will develop a more authentic video spirit presence. One thing for sure, Ann Marie’s beloved antique iron dress cage is now possessed with the essence of a 1900′s opera singer who travels through radio static and telephone wires, by name of Lily.
