Feeling Stuck?

Recently I was talking about resistance on my show. The subject had come up because somebody was stating that they were having a problem moving forward or felt stuck where they were at. Resistance to what is, trying to change what is, is one of the primary reasons why we become or feel like we are stuck. There are so many methods and so many workshops and books that will teach you how to get what it is that you want in life. It actually is more simple than that. There isn’t a ‘getting’. You merely just stop doing the things that are not allowing what you what it is that you want to come into your experience. It’s really not a matter of doing something, but being something.
Stopping doing what you normally do or to better put it, stopping the way that we respond to situations and people in our lives is what will put you into the state of allowing. If trying to fix something, or do something, or make something different because we don’t like the way that it’s happening, really worked… then our lives would automatically be changed for the better and we wouldn’t have the feeling of spinning our wheels.
We have a resistance to the way that things could be, or would like them to be.We also have a resistance to the way that things were. As if somehow, by thinking about it over and over again, we can change that memory. So most of the time, we’re living in our heads and our never really with what is actually taking place right now. Often, what else can happen, is that we have heard that we should picture what it is that we want, what it would feel like if we actually have that. But where I believe a lot of people are sidetracked, is not paying attention to any of the feelings that come up to the contrary of what we are thinking about what we want. In other words, you have the feeling of what it is you want or desire, and then often, there can be a feeling of something to the contrary. I can’t have that, I don’t know how I would possibly get that, I’m not worthy and the list goes on. By paying attention and then releasing on the contrary feelings, it puts us on a better platform to absolutely create and more importantly have those things that we desire.
Something else that I’ve noticed that many people become tripped up on, is the imagining of what we want, as compared to what it is we already have. If you’re wanting to live in a better home, and you are picturing a better home, a bigger home, and then you are taking stock of the home you’re presently living in, you confuse the vibration of the creation of what you want.
The best course of action, is not to “want”, but rather, have a pure, positive, clear intent without being pulled in the opposite direction. And learn how to accept what is. From that vibration, you are setting your self up to succeed to the next level. Rather than being at the bottom of the mountain and looking up imagining what it would be like to be on the top, start climbing from where you are, and notice your rapid progress.
