My Bio

I'm the GM here at Achieve Radio (and also the head of the IT dept, senior engineer and janitor.) My primary career for 30 years was Aviation. My avatar is me in front of my office in 1979 -- a B17G rigged for putting out forest fires.

An interesting side note for those interested in movie and aviation history, this particular airplane is a movie star. It appeared with Steve McQueen and Robert Wagner at the controls in "The War Lover" and later in the Twentieth Century Fox feature, "Tora, Tora, Tora" and then years later in "The Memphis Belle." That's the airplane. My own movie career started and ended with a stint as an extra in "Lost Horizons"

Even though my primary career was aviation, I have been in and out of radio and TV production since about 1972 and have been at it full time here at Achieve Radio since 2002.

I currently live in rural South Dakota in "A Little House on the Prairie" along with my wife, 4 dogs and a cat.
