Achieve Radio has implemented a major improvement in our Live Broadcast System!
Effective today, December 11th, 2011, listeners will notice a MAJOR improvement in our live broadcast presentation. Here are the details:
- Our primary web based player is now located within the A-R Blogosphere.
- The primary player is completely redesigned with HTML5 and works across virtually all platforms, gateways and web browsers, including all iOS devices (iPad & iPhone) and Mac, all Windows systems including IE8 & IE9, Forefox & AOL for Windows, Android and most Linux systems.
- The system has been extensively tested with IE8, IE9, Firefox 4 thru 8, Chrome and the Mac/Linux versions of Safari and works across all of them.
- The “Now Broadcasting” and “Now Playing” banners which accompany the player have been upgraded to the latest jQuery/Ajax technology and now function reliably in nearly all situations and browsers.
The live radio player has both the A/R chat room and our InQuick Message system located on the page with it, making interaction with both the hosts and other listeners as easy as possible.
A NEW HANDY FEATURE is the “Pop Out Player” button located right on the player face. This allows you to “Pop Out” the radio player to a new, small window which you can then minimize so you can continue to surf without shutting off the audio.
For the techies out there — Those of you who use specialized players to tune in (such as Winamp, iTunes, Real Player, QuickTime and etc.) We STILL SUPPORT these platforms! In fact, BETTER than before. We are now streaming with the new SHOUTcast v2 system which fully supports all these systems. This Link: http://achieveradio.com/ACHIEVE.m3u should open our stream in your favorite player (if your player is configured correctly)

I appreciate all of this new improvement, and it lives up to its name “Achieve”. I also look forward to the option of a split screen for video web cam cast in the near future. Way to go Mr Bill!
