Achieve
Radio is an internet radio station, web radio station or streaming
radio station (call it whichever you like) that broadcasts talk shows.
As such, we are in the entertainment business: part of the media, if you
will. Achieve Radio specializes in radio talk shows that focus on personal
achievement, health, growth, or success in some way. We air shows that
present alternative views, alternative lifestyles, and alternative motivations.
Achieve Radio is dedicated to helping our listeners succeed -- to Achieve
-- in every aspect of life and to find a path that fits them. In short,
we are a holistic radio station. Our Program guidelines are quite simple:
All show must be positive in nature, focusing on SOLUTIONS to problems,
not the problems themselves. You will hear many different business suggestions
here, and many different moral, religious, spiritual, motivational, health
and lifestyle choices from leading experts in diverse fields. From medical
doctors to holistic practitioners, from scientists to spiritual teachers
and from authors to psychics, there is no shortage of differing viewpoints
on this radio station. The common denominator is upbeat, positive thinking.
The one thing you won't often hear on Achieve Radio is End-Of-The-World
Gloom and Doom. We are, after all, The Positive Side of Radio.
We
want our listeners to be entertained. The radio talk show is a popular
medium and can be a good form of entertainment. And our shows are no different
there. What is different is that our talk shows present guests you may
not hear on traditional radio presenting alternative views and opinions
you may not often hear anywhere else. Our talk show hosts are professionals
in their fields, not professional broadcasters playing the "expert
for a day" game. Our show hosts are at the cutting edge of their
fields: working, learning and Developing their disciplines,
not "Big Names" from the past living off old work.
This does NOT mean our station broadcasts only unknowns. Many of our hosts and guests are very well known, such as Guy Finley, popular psychic mediums John Holland and James Van Praagh, Best Selling Authors Gregg Braden, James Redfield, Jean Houston, Lynn Andrews, Neale Donald Walsch, Don Miguel Ruiz, Dr. David Hawkins and many more. Other expert, ground breaking guests have included Dr. William Tiller, Dr. Eric Pearl, Dr. Gabriel Cousens, "Mad Cowboy" Howard Lyman, Brother Satyananda, William Meader and Rev. Billie Martini. We have even featured cameo and guest appearances by stars such as Rachel Hunter, Jeffrey Gurian and "Galloping Gourmet" Graham Kerr. Many of the cast of What the Bleep Do We Know have appeared on various shows here, as well.
Callers
usually get far more time than the 15 to 30 seconds given by most talk
radio programs. Listeners are invited to call in with questions or comments
or to send an instant message to our hosts with the "In-Quick"
instant message system on our interact page. If your topic is mad cow
disease, medication or meditation, we want you to chat with our guests
and learn from them (or teach them!) That's the idea. Call-In, ask a question,
get a reading - we welcome your participation!
