Tonight, Host Psychologist Parthenia Izzard, CNHP, will be talking with Alyson Mead, author of Wake Up To Your Weight Loss: Using the Art of Personal Narrative to Achieve Your Best Body.
Wake Up to Your Weight Loss is anything but an ordinary diet book. In fact, it has very little to do with eating and calories, and nothing at all to do with the self-hatred too often found in books about weight issues. Instead, it is meant to be a companion to healthy food choices and exercise. The author picks up where she left off with her first book, Wake Up to Your Stories. Using meditation, follow up exercises, and cultivation of a personal storytelling practice to redirect the internal stories we tell ourselves all the time, usually without knowing it.
